Citrus Cream

Agate Cove Recipes : Citrus Cream

 

This cream makes an awesome topping for French Toast, pancakes, and crepes. You can also fold in fruit for a filling for crepes. You’ll find more uses for it once you taste it!
Ingredients
12 oz cream cheese, softened to room temperature
4 Tbsp orange zest, minced
2 Tbsp lemon zest, minced
2 Tbsp orange juice
1 Tbsp lemon juice
1 Tbsp lime juice
1 cup sugar
2 cups heavy cream
Directions
Blend the cream cheese in the mixer with the juices and zests until
the cream cheese is completely smooth, then add the sugar and blend it in. Finally, add the cream
gradually as you beat the mixture on medium. After all of the cream has been
added, turn the mixer to the highest setting until the cream is thoroughly
whipped. The mixture will become somewhat more solid in the refrigerator, and it will (theoretically) keep for a week.
